I joined Mirada Studios and Director Mathew Cullen to collide our disciplines on special projects to ideate, develop, and produce content – in this instance, a music video for Katy’s “Dark Horse” song plus a special rollout package that drives distribution and music downloads. A custom mobile App called &AndCam allowed Katy Perry’s fans to step into her world before the video launched. A carefully planned social activation leveraged photo-sharing channels to generate a frenzy that made “Dark Horse” the most-watched video in the world for 2014 with two billion views.
