Skin holds us together – literally. It can define and, can be defined for you. African Americans were our main audience using Cocoa Butter products for its deep moisturizing properties. A social conversation, inviting folks to honor their skin. The campaign kicked off with a series of tease posters and banners that used dark skin as the canvas with light skin as the typography. These posters raised awareness of skin where a global community including celebrities shared some amazing stories. The brand entered into the market from the grass roots up, so when we officially launched the Cocoa Butter range we had already made friends and curated hundreds of endorsements from of all skin types.
